Search for Singapore ’s Happiest Person – Is it Someone You Know?

A recent survey reported that nine in ten Singaporeans feel that life here is getting more stressful, and they want more fun! Despite achieving economic wealth, we are still not happy.

But do you know anyone who is happy despite all these concerns and life challenges?

 

Global Leadership Academy (as part of its New Science of Happiness & Well Being Conference, 16-17 April ’08)is searching for Singapore ’s Happiest Person. Do you know anyone who deserves the title?If so then nominate them and they could win first prize of a luxury 3D/2N Stay in Phuket – sponsored by Marriott Vacation Club, Asia Pacific.

The top three winners will be announced on April 4 th and will attend as guests at The New Science of Happiness and Well-Being conference - 16 - 17 April 2008 at Singapore Expo – value $1,388. The winner of the title Singapore ’s Happiest Person will be announced on the second day of the conference.

  • Any Singapore Citizen , Singapore PR or Singapore resident of any age can nominate a Singapore citizen above 18 years old for the title of Singapore ’s Happiest Person 2008.
  • Choose a Singapore citizen you think is real happy - they should fit the following criteria:

1. Happy smiling disposition – others feel good to be around them

2. Ability to be happy no matter what life presents them with

3. Has a strong sense of community and belonging – family and friends

4. Stays consistently happy – not up one moment and down the next

5. Contributes to society by bringing happiness to others

  • Write a short description of between 300 and 1,000 words on why your nominee should win the title.
